Assign Zero Grade Points for Unsubmitted Work
Instructors can quickly assign zero grade points to all unsubmitted work. Instructors do not need to manually/visually searchfor each student’s unsubmitted work.
Instructors are alerted to unsubmitted work. They have an option to enter a zero-point value to all unsubmitted items or leave the field blank.
- From the Numeric Grade header cell in the quick grade view, choose the Edit Grades link. Two choices are available, either:
If desired, assign Letter Grades in the appropriate column.
If you choose, you can also add Comments in the appropriate column.
Click Save Changes.
- Set All Ungraded Items to 0 to change all ungraded items viewable to 0. The only items that change are the viewable numeric grades. Anything hidden under the fold is not changed. So, if you are only viewing 10 of 20 students, only those 10 viewable students’ numeric grades are affected by this option. You can change the number of rows visible in the Display field. Numeric grades can include numerals and decimal points. No letters or special characters can be entered. Only those fields that are blank or already have values of zero will show zero values.
- Set Items to open the Set Items … dialog box to choose from All, Ungraded, or Graded items to a specific numeric grade for ungradeditems. Numeric grades can include numerals and decimal points. No letters or special characters can be entered. If you click outside the dialog box, it will disappear.
